Building Bronze Age
Market
Stalls, haggling, and trade goods. Houses need a market to grow beyond simple dwellings.
In your city
The Market unlocks in the Bronze Age. With its workers in place it makes 7.2 gold per minute. It brings Market to every home within 4 tiles, which lets houses reach level 4 once they have every earlier need. It employs 2 workers. Its upkeep is 1.2 gold per minute; with an empty treasury it runs at half strength.
Upgrades
Once it is finished, tap it and choose Upgrade to raise it a level, up to level 3. You pay up front; the work then takes a while, shown by the same bar as construction, and the Market keeps working at its old level meanwhile. From level 2 it wears its level on a stone plaque carved with Roman numerals. How upgrades work.
