Side quest The Beyond Coming soon

Arena of Ages

A cheerful two-lane battler with a card for every age your city has reached. No chests, no timers: just four rivals and one crown.

Two lanes! Four towers! Zero chests! Step into the Arena of Ages, where history fights fair and the snacks are free!

Vox, the Holo-Announcer

What it is

A lane battler and a friendly parody of loot-box games. Two bastions face each other across two light-bridges, each guarded by two towers and a keep. Play units from a hand of four to push a lane, topple towers for crowns, and win best-of-three matches against four rivals, ending with the Reigning Champion. The signs say it all: No chests. No timers. Refills at the speed of fun.

How to find it

When it arrives, the quest will open in The Beyond, once a finished Stadium stands in your city. Vox, the over-excited holo-announcer, will do the inviting.

How to play

  • Your deck has one card for every age your city has reached, from Pebble Slingers to the Strider Mech; ages you haven't reached yet send a Training Holo instead. Nothing to buy, nothing to open.
  • Energy fills over time. Drag a card onto a bridge (or tap it, then pick a bridge) to play it.
  • Each tower is worth a crown; toppling a keep wins the round outright. If the bell rings level, sudden overtime decides it.
  • Lost a match? The rematch is free, with no catch and no countdown.

Tactical mode

The quest's relaxed mode is called Tactical mode: picking up a card pauses the action, and your energy fills while you think.

Rewards

Beat all four rivals to become Champion of Every Era and unlock the Arena Champion statue, plus a one-off gift and a chronicle line. The confetti, sadly, is holographic.
