The Woodcutter's Lodge unlocks in the Stone Age. With its workers in place it makes 33 wood per minute. It must be placed near forest, and it works faster the more of that terrain surrounds it. It employs 2 workers.

Upgrades

Once it is finished, tap it and choose Upgrade to raise it a level, up to level 3. You pay up front; the work then takes a while, shown by the same bar as construction, and the Woodcutter's Lodge keeps working at its old level meanwhile. From level 2 it wears its level on a wooden plank with carved tally notches. How upgrades work.
